Head/Neck doctor

If I need to see a doctor who specializes in Head/neck injuries, how do I go about finding one? I had a minor car accident a year ago and my neck is still giving me problems.
Do I just show up to Hamad or Al Ahli and ask to see a specialist? Do I go to a clinic?
I'm used to just looking up names in phone book and making an appointment.
I live near Villagio if that's of any importance.

Go to general practitionor he will refer to the required specialised doctor. that is better.
As a rule of thumb, I never visit a specialist unless I have been referred by a General Practitioner/Family Doctor. I feel the GP is in the best position to determine whether I need to be seen by a specialist and to identify the kind of specialist most suited to treating the ailment. That said, I think one is required to present a referral letter in order to book an appointment for the free clinics at Hamad. You might want to read this article:
