Just to make the customers fool, Qtel introduced Virgin Mobile, which is the same thing like Qtel, nothing different, then who is crazy to buy another sim with the same facilities if he already have one from Qtel. That is the reason, Virgin is flop....even majority of qatar residence dont know what is Virgin.
You can just imagine the international rates of Qtel...above QR 2 per minute, even to GCC countries which are located just next to them. Vodafone has good options now, you can call internationally in Dhs 50 per minute. Local calls and SMS are at the half rate, what else you want from them? They cannot give it in free. I am not the agent of Vodafone, but fact is fact.

Qtel is good but Vodafone is the best for international calls. I am using vodafone since it is launched, I didn't face any problem. There were some issues in the start, but now everything is ok.

There are only two service providers in Qatar.
If Voda sucks go to Qtel and when Qtel sucks go to Voda

There isn't any other option other than Qtel actually :-)
for me Voda is still working excellent. But Qtel rocks in terms of signals. and it sucks when comes to call/voice/data charges... :(
