Hey, I am in the same boat except I saved my bunny from a school. He is also sick and has been on antibiotics for a week with an upper respiratory infection. When rabbits are stressed they get sick. I know a lot about bunnies and I know that the best thing is to get hay from carrefour, try find decent pellets (they are so supposed to have pellets with 21percent fibre content) and then try find a probiotic. I have not found probiotics yet and I have not found decent pellets! but hay is most important anyway and my little guy is getting better. I took my bunny to the veterinary surgery in Doha, and it cost 175 riyals. I was quoted 215 at QVC. I have started a site on fb- rabbits and bunnies in qatar because I was hoping to make contact with bunny owners in qatar so that we could help each other out. I think my guy is 7 weeks old, and already he runs to the door to meet me when I get home from work. Please keep in touch and let me know how it goes :) Kelly

Medications and treatments could be anything from QR 50 to QR 500 depending on what's wrong with it. No-one can tell you how much it will be as we don't know what tests, treatments or medications might be prescribed.
May88 - A consultation is QR210 and any medications & treatments could be anything from QR50 - QR500 depending on what's wrong with the rabbit, the treatment prescribed and any tests that need doing.
Yes it can be pricey but they're still the best vets in my opinion.
sorry just thought it strange that l/m wanted to know what was wrong with your rabbit, phone the vets first and i am sure they will tell you, seems the best thing to do. I have never had a problem with my rabbit..
@lotsmarbles: did you personally go there yourself? I want a reliable answer. I think my rabbit needs some kind of injection. and some general checkup.
YES! From souq waqif!! Thank you. But have you (or anyone you personally KNOW) actually gone to the QVC? It is a private hospital for pets. So I doubt it's for free.

@lostingolf2: so you're a rabbit owner? I'm just curious. And for how long have been having your rabbit? I purchased mine six months ago.

@lostingol2: now, is that what you suggest for an answer to my question? I really don't want drama here. I want a reliable answer. Thank you.
