@ Sean_c,as i suspected, you have now confirmed your complete lack of exposure to the real world & the fact that you are not @ all well travelled...ONLY someone who has never seen the world, never experienced life & living in the real world would make a comment like "it's a budget airline what did you expect?"...??? quite clearly, you don't have a clue mate...so you really are in no position to be passing nasty comments on specific Indian communities mr. ignoramus...you catch my drift boy?...you have a nice day now! :)...

Budget airlines doesn't mean that since you have paid less, you WILL have to suffer.. They are still expected to get you there on time. As gadarene said, budget airlines are cheaper because they cut down on the frills. Even with a budget airlines I expect to reach on time.

I agree with the comments of all the so understood poor people like me who would travel budget airlines. The tickets of these airlines come at a lower price because of the inconveniences or whatever that I am willingly accepting...but then I am definitely paying to reach me at the time specified. If they can't do that they must be made responsible for it.

Just because its a budget airline, that does not mean customer service isn't warranted.

You have paid for your flight, you are not getting it for free - and who are you all to judge anyway - some people cannot afford to fly QA or Emirates.

An Economy seat on those planes is probably a business class price for some people who can only afford Bahrain, Gulf Air or FlyDubai.

Its not acceptable to have 26hr delays with any airline.

I'd certainly be looking for compensation for the delay, spending a day in an airport transit area is not remotely acceptable and the airline deserves all the bad publicity it can get.

It is things like this and over booking which forced the European Union to introduce the Passenger Directive where delays attract large compensation payments to flights starting or terminating in the EU. Funny thing is issues have reduced significantly since it was introduced.

Doesn't help you in this case but it is worth remembering if you are traveling to the EU

Contrary to the general belief around these parts...a budget airline means you pay for extras like picking your seat,an extra check in bag,blanket/pillow,headphones,etc...aircraft are smaller, leg room is less,etc...what it DOES NOT mean however,is delayed flights, crappy customer service & all the above mentioned issues...

MILLIONS of people around the world fly budget airlines EVERY DAY,but that's the real world i'm talking about...just because the middle east is such an immature, unexposed & unaware market does not mean that budget airlines are bad...they're just bad HERE,because people don't know any better...so they automatically assume that if you fly a budget airline you forgo all your rights as a passenger...ridiculous...

Bahrain air is a budget airline. What did you expect? Instead of all that effort to get heard by customer service stick on to reliable service providers like Qatar Airways, Emirates or Gulf Air. You should have checked their track record before gallivanting to the opportunity to land a cheap fare and yet make it on time for your family occasion.

You Pay less, you suffer more...Don't expect, Hotel

accomodation because they will earned nothing. If they do provide a Hotel accomodation. Your Airfare and Hotel rate maybe same. So next time you travel take a Direct Flight, even their fare a bit higher...no need to worry...

Keep sending your Complain. I am sure they will reply to you not this time, maybe some other time..
