In Qatar, I've heard that women pretty much have to offer to sleep with the hiring mgr to get a job. They have very little respect for women, so taking a beating in the interview is a must, especially for a "fresher"

but english primarily is britisher's language...and it does exists in british english.

Well, it actually does. "Fresher" does not exist in American English (except perhaps to describe the relative properties of a tomato.)
