How well equipped is the medical facilities in Qatar to take care of my Wife's pregnency? I have planned to make the delivery in Qatar. Where is the best place or hospital to make the delivery.? No problem of costs.
Please suggest. Thanks in Advance.

I second the thought of "qatar engineer"..

I had my baby delivered at DOHA CLINIC few years back and the service was absolutely upto the mark that one needs at the time of the delivery..I too was hesitant to go for the PUBLIC hospital..They could be having nice facilities and cheap cost but as QATAR ENGINEER said, it's really a long queue over there...

If you have insurance, better go for private...Though i had spend a lot during my delivery cos i wasn't having any INSURNACE..But the money wasn't a problem with us..We just wanted to have top class aid with all necessary assistance..

American ex-pat here. We had a baby at Al Ahli hospital in March of this year. Everything went perfectly well and I would recommend them highly. I've never used any other hospital here, but I was skeptical of using a public hospital because I didn't want to sit in line when the time came to deliver. I worried about being treated like a "public assistance" patient too. Private hospitals are more expensive, true, but you get the service you'd expect for private service. I would be the first to say stay away from Al Ahli if I felt they did something wrong, but it was smooth as silk and I would go there again if I was to have another baby in Qatar.
