Hello,
am Planning to vist malaysia and singapore in december, QL Users share there views as to which is the ideal place and hotel In Kualalumpur to stay. purpose of visit is for site seeing and Shopping, same is the case with Singapore.
I stayed in Singapore for 5 months on a working holiday so know it all about both countries
Call me for details.
In anycase, when you travel b/w the countries, be sure to take the train (needs to be booked atleast a month in advance - online), you will enjoy the scenic beauty of the country side
I will arrange a good Tour Itinerary for you Singapore by Bus to Kulalumpur and Genting Highlands. Please send me an email. I will give you the rates all inclusive of Tickets/Hotels/Transfers.
Our last visit we stayed at Westin Kuala Lumpur, cross the road from Pavillion Mall (one of the newest mall in KL) and walking distance to the Monorail Station.
You also can try google New World Hotel Renaissance ... walking distance to Bukit Nanas monorail station and short walk to petronas tower with KLCC mall underneath the tower.
Intercontinental Hotel singapore is inside the bugis junction shopping mall and short walk to Bugis MRT Statio.
Please share some cost estimates as well
KL
Can recomend The Boulevard hotel, located at Mid Valley Mall, also there is The Garden Residence and Cititel in the same area, Mid Valley Mall and Garden Mall are linked by a foodcourt in the basement and I believe the two combined make the largest Mall in Asia. The LRT/Komuter Train can be reached on foot and can take you anywhere quite quickly and cheaply, if a little squashed at peak times, or you get cabs easily enough to KLCC etc.
The Sunway Resort is also good as I believe is the Sunway Pyramid if you want the water park and the Sunway Mall (adjacent).
Singapore
The Orchard Hotel is good as is the Marriot, both are in Orchard Road main shopping area and both within easy access to LRT and buses. Again depends on budget, the cost is high.
All the above however depends on budget try Agoda for other ideas.
why dont you visit indonesia ? it's more beautiful
