your problem is self explanatory. you should produce medical certificate to defend yourself & according to labor law. no company around the world pay their employee without working unless you are a ghost employee. cheers!!!

Qatar Labour Law (Article-82)

""The worker shall be entitled to a sick leave with pay for every year of the years of his service. This sick leave shall not be granted unless after three months from the commencement of his engagement for the first time provided that the worker proves his sickness by a certificate from a physician approved by the employer......""

->Although some companies gives consideration to their workers to approved 1-2days sick leave without doctor's certificate.

It would be advisable to produce MEDICAL CERTIFICATE..

There are few companies which make its employees to fill an absent form in which you have to give the detail explanation regarding your SICK LEAVE for 1 or 2 days..Check with your HR department..

it depends on the company. there are companies that require a med certificate even if you were just absent for one day. most companies require the certificate if the person has been absent for at least 2 days. it is better for you to ask someone reliable from your HR department about leave policies.
