International Driving License

I have an International Driving License issued in the Philippines and I'm on a business visa. my question is: Can I use my Int'l driving license here in Qatar? if yes, for how many months? Thank you.

Thank you for your answers!!! I also inquired at car rentals that I found in gulf times under their classifieds. According to most of the car rental, I can use the Int'l driving license for 3 months based on Qatar law... however, some car rental companies allow their customers only for 1 month, some for 3 months depends on the company policy... 1 car rental company said that I need to get a temporary driving license after 1 month and eye test as well. How can I get a temp driving license? what is the process? thanks
I was asking a Police commander at Traffic dep. the same question. My daughter visited me on visit visa and she stayed for two month. So person comming to Qatar on tourist visa, family visit visa etc. can drive all the time he stays in Qatar. Only person applying for residence permit shall obtain Qatari driving licence. Such person can drive for two weeks only from date of arrival.
