Massive arms cache found in Manchester.
Police in Manchester last night announced the discovery of an arms cache of 2000 semi-automatic rifles with 250,000 rounds of ammunition, 10 anti-tank missiles, 4 grenade launchers, 20 tonnes of heroin, £50 million in forged UK banknotes and 25 trafficked Ukrainian prostitutes, all in a semi-detached house behind the Public Library in Moss Side.
Local residents were stunned.
A community spokesman said: "We're shocked. We never knew we had a f******ng library!"
Right Check it, just to explain to those who didn’t get this joke(which is quite understandable as it needs to be in context to be understood), Mossside is supposed to be one of the roughest and toughest neighbor hoods in Manchester. Actually probably in the UK as a whole. Its one big council estate, populated mainly with blacks, but there are a few white trash-types there, and not forgetting some Asians and Somalis mixed in. Its got all sorts of issues of crime, drugs and gun related gang problems (but its better now then it was in the mid 90's) So as you read the first few words of this joke your supposed to think what dweller is saying may just be true but then the joke gets a little more ridicules and then uppercuts the reader with a slur on the good people of mossside as its punch line.....like I said its contextual!! Anyway personally I miss mossside and rusholme boarders, I used to box their at champs camp many years ago and just hang out at my friends shop on wilmslow road curry mile as a teenager with too much time on his hands - Manchetsr is a great place with many a memory! Respect to all the Manchester peeps out there in the Doha region :O) would be good to meet some mancs and reminisce....a bit like Im doing now...
