Door to Door Donation Collector for Madrassa

Has a adonation collector from Madrassa Arabia Jama Saeedia Darul Uloom come knocking on your door recently? One did on mine so i made a small donation (the amounts are fixed by the way) hoping that it will make its way to some aspiring but poor students either in Palestine or Pakistan.

I am not sure why i raised the issue after repeatedly telling myself that i gave with sincerety, and i am not usually hesitant in giving to anyone i feel is needy.

May be skepticsm, may be i was too quick to sympathise. And I didn't even ask where this school was, who he was and how that money will reach those kids.

Can anyone assure me that really these money will go to those poor children and put into good use?

in Qatar is illegal. One should inform the authorities on 999 about such people collecting money from other Countries.

As per my personal experience, I am sure your money will not go for a good cause or to the poor and needy people. These so called Madaras are main reasons for the sectarian violences in Pakistan/ Afghanistan etc....

(Rest God knows better)

If any one wish to donate money for the needy and poor children in Qatar or outside Qatar, there are some most popular and trustful charity organization which are:

Qatar Charity

Qatar Red Crescent Society

Sheikh Eid Bin Mohammad Al-Thani Charity

Reach Out to Asia (ROTA)

When you have these registered and trustful charity organization in your area, why to give to some outsiders who you don't know about them?

i guess most of us have been approached by these donation seekers (although i m still waiting to meet another donor to this particular madrassa's "representative").

i normally give (regardless of which month) to the obvious - the obviously handicapped (yes i pursued one for months before i finally encountered him again and managed to handover a little donation which he reluctantly but gratefully accepted.) i honestly thought he may just be a phantom to test my compassion caused once he disappeared from my sight faster than the time i took to get my wallet out of my back pocket.

then there are the obviously elderly and unwanted whom no one seems to want to take on for work anymore and who may have been forgotten by their families back in their home countries as well. collecting cans and scavanging the refuse bins, or sitting at roundabouts staring at their remaining short and uncertain future.

thank God we are blessed, whether small or big, and we are still at the giving end.......

I come across these so called madrasa bulders everyday.. They take advantage of this month and use excuse just to make sum money.. Among them is a very tiny percentage who actually does raise funds for religious activities.

Because of the beggers now everone looks alike.

Indians,Bengalis and now even some Arabs started this drama.

Some of them even argue if the amount is less instead of thanking god for what they got.
