Hi,
I just brought my wife for a family visit visa. i need to extend her visa. Where i can go for medical and what are the document requiered ? Also what is their working hours..
Just additional query please, my sister will arrive here in Doha on Wednesday, December 1 under family visit visa. Our plan is we will have her medical exam on Sunday,December 5 to give her enough rest, but I have learned that medical exam should be 72 hours (3 days) after arrival. Is it still ok to take her medical exam 4 days after she arrive since during Fridays and Saturdays government offices are closed? Or is it advisable that we'll just go to Medical Commission on Thursday, 2 Dec just to be sure???
Dear for visit visa extension there is no need of filing up any form and the picture ur wife need to bring her passport and visa copy and ur ATM card for payment thats it.. they will charge 100 riyals and send the result directly to immigration office better to go to immigration after 6 or 7 days of medical .
I don't think you need pictures.last year i extended my mother's family visit visa for 5 more months and they did not ask for pictures. They take picture of you at the counter when you pay at the Medical Commission
Go for medical in medical commision(abu hamoor). You should take original passport, passport size pictures and visa copy with 100 riyals. You will get the result in couple of days.. Forms are available at the Medical Commission & will be filled in by the female staff for around QR 10/each.
Typically, the results are sent to MOI withing 24 hours and your will get a SMS on the contact number (mobile) that your provided at the medical center.
Go to Medical Commision near Abu Hamour Area. I belive they are open 8 am up to lunch time right now in Ramadan. Be there early to avoid bottleneck of falling in line.
