ideal indian school vs. birla public school

Hello.Im at a very tough situation here.My daughter studied in ideal for 10 years and had been doing very well. Then, she asked if she could transfer to Birla for tenth grade because she heard that they teach better there. So,she tranfered to Birla and produced satisfactory results as well.Shes been there for one year now and suddenly last week she's been begging me to send her back to ideal. My doubts are:
1)Can i trust my child to ideal's teachers as next year, she will be writing her board exams!
2)In ideal,do teachers teach so well that my child would not require unnecessary tuitions?

In birla, they do teach well but my child feels uncomfortable in birla as teachers often force students and overload them at week-ends because of which she has no time to ''study'' because she has to ''complete'' her home work and assignments on teacher's whims. She was a lot happier in Ideal. She had time for everything and studied well as well.BuT the teachers didnt teach as well as birla so she had to go for tuitions, yet she performed well.
But now again I hear that the ideal teachers of the senior sections are good.
What should i do??

The above are just two among hundreds of other boys and girls who have topped in the past 26 years of Ideal Indian School's existence in Qatar. Both Ideal and Birla are schools that have teachers recruited locally and from India, in fact there are also teachers at Birla now, who were working with Ideal earlier. So don't go by the name, people tend to relate to the quality by the name. Meanwhile haven't you checked out the new campus of Ideal Indian School yet? Pay a visit there and that should clear all your doubts dear, wish you the Best!

2. In year 2010 at CBSE Board Exams, Master Shanmugam Vignesh of Ideal Indian School again was the TOPPER in Qatar having scored 96.6% overall marks. He was also the second in the GULF, topper was 96.8%, you can see the difference. Please refer to Gulf Times article published in May 2010, the link is here:

Hi blukis94,

I am surprised that you are so confused about the quality of education at Ideal Indian School. Talking of competetive exams and results at CBSE Board exams, how could you miss the fact that Ideal Indian School has been producing Toppers in Qatar for many years. Hope the following facts concrete that statement I am making:

1. In year 2009 at CBSE Board Exams, Master Azhar Khan of Ideal was the TOPPER in Qatar having scored 95.8% overall marks. Please refer to Gulf Times article published in May 2009, the link is here:

I do agree with ARIEN. BIRLA is little more home work, however, propoer planning can help. We parents should help them as and when may be every day. my 2nd son (2nd std) is doing good in Birla. I advise not to change in 9/10 std, is crucial.

9th to 10th.. not all a good period for a transition. I wouldnt advise. Better to be wit hteh teachers who knows her strength and weakness. May be you can do it after the 10th.

Subjects, I think birla southy teachers are better than anyone.
