Do an employee nead to pay the cost to the company if he wants to leave in two months of contract?

I am an expat from India working for a company in Qatar. I want to leave the country for good. I came to know its a practice in our company that if any of the employee wants to leave he has to pay the cost of recruitment. Can anyone tell me if this holds good as per the Qatar labour law. What i should do to go out of this country. Is it justified to pay the cost. Pls help me out..
Kindly check the clauses mentioned in your CONTRACT LETTER..It's not good to assume everything on your own..Every company has its different rules and regulations..If you don't wish to continue your job, speak to your company's HR department as well...
And yes, don't expect to get the NOC in return in case you decide to come back to DOHA..
verify your contract, it should be indicated, that if ever you are to resign in less than a year, you should pay for the cost of recruitment.
I do not know if this is according to the Qatar Labor Law, but in my cse is is written in my contract.
