you can check out by calling directly the company in qatar that your friend told you about, you can also google the company name to get the direct number. It is wiser to know first if the company really is existing, there are also some cases wherein in your home country, you will be told to work for a certain company in a certain type of work, but you will be asked to work with a lower level of work. Ensure first the accuracy of the job told you about before flying to qatar. Dont shed out any money.

If the e-mail has a telephone number tell him to check the telephone numbers of the actual company (using the web and not using any links that the e-mail may provide) against those given in the e-mail.

The probablity is that they have created a look-a-like site that looks genuine.
