Attraction for men is triggered by looks.
For women on the other hand, attraction is triggered emotionally. A genetic reason for a woman to take her time is that nature has made it such that flings are much more difficult for a woman - because a man can literally fling his seed all over the world and not be too bothered but a woman will have to be saddled with 10 months of carrying the offspring & so on.
