Range Rover After sale and service/QATAR

Your welcome...i dont think the LR4 has a good reasale value here..i was talking about range rover sport ...to be honest a few people go for the LR4 ...as compared to sport or even vouge ... and yeah one more thing ..dont go for any landrover older than 2007 ...Cheers!

so, from what i have seen from your comments, i should not worry alot about servicing the land rover or a range rover.

to be honest i love the LR4 and i am considering this one.

Range rover is the best ...it has a good resale value here compared to other luxury SUVs, plus the service is arount 1800 for oil change and filter etc...but the service is after a long time ...every 3 - 6 months..

Any incidents or more insight u can give me.

Few Of the people said that they are one of the oldest car dealers and one of the best, and some other did not say that !

I've had 7 Rangies over the years,covering all the models,and have a supercharged vogue here.Never been let down yet!Servicing is pricey but efficient and thorough.Time between services is a good length of time/km, so doesn't come up too frequently compared to some makes.

Top gear is a British program. And they mostly favor British cars :)

So they wont be objective on Range Rovers :)

dude u better check out top gear's review..u will have a gud idea about it.car is amazing for off-road touring.

Well i also like the exterior (sport editions only). But most reviews and statistics show the car as unreliable.

Yes, it's expensive and yes, it seems to take an inordinate amount of time. But no more than any other dealer's service here, I'd say.

Why is RR not a reliable car????? Its the company that pioneered the whole Luxury 4x4 segment, btw BMW X5 was made just after BMW group sold RR to Ford.

Tulip - Any luxury brand car will always be costlier to maintain.

Well Other than not reliable Brand. Honestly I realy like it but am a bit worried about the dealer's service.

Range Rover is not a reliable car compared to Lexus, Toyota, Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Porsche 4x4 cars.

I believe you should change your mind and get one of the above brands :)
