RP Expiring while wife's RP is valid until next year

My RP is going to expire end of this month. Since my wife and kid's came later, their RP is valid until next year.

My question is that if I exit on the last day and later return on visit visa, can my family continue to stay in doha on the current RP as the "valid To" data is in 2011. Keep in my I will not go on final exit and will not cancel anything.

I am a canadian citizen so I can get the visit visa on arrival. I would like to keep my family on RP so they do not have to exit every month.

Guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all for your valuable input.

I am filing for transfer of sponsorship and already have the NOC and everthing ready now, but I dont think that it can be done before my RP expires.

I read on this forum that I can stay in the country without any penalty for upto 90 days after my RP expires.

Is this correct? Because this will give me enough time to complete my RP trnasfer.

As per my knowledge the family (means wife and kids) will be under the sponsorship of husband. once your RP is expired, their RP also will invalid.

for example the companies have their CR, Computer Card, Municipality approvals etc etc. All employees can enter and exit if these documents are valid. once these are expired no body can enter or exit.

The same thing your family is under ur sponsorship and under ur RP. once it is expired their RP will be automatically expired.

This is a small information from my side. Get good advises from experts.

Assuming you are working here? You have to have a sponsor in Qatar to have an RP... which means your sponsor should be taking steps to renew your RP... Even as a canadian citizen I don't think you can enter on a regular visit visa if you have had an RP issued before....

As far as I am aware, even if your wifes RP expires only next year - because your RP will expire, hers will too - I stand open to correction - but your wife is here because of your sponsorship - if yours expires for any reason, she wouldn't be allowed to stay either...

Help anyone else?

No, you can not. They day your RP gets expire, automatically their RP will become invalid. The validity of their RP is always subject to a valid RP of their sponsor (yourself).
