what is a difference between I.T helpdesk officer and computer technician?Their works are same or different??

An IT helpdesk officer will tell you switch your computer off and on again over the phone. Whereas, a computer technician will switch your computer off and on again for you.

First job with no experiance and 6000 salary, i think its a good start ...........the savings will be depending upon the way u live in qatar.....

No my friend's i just start my new job in QIC as a computer technician with grade 8 i am 23 year old n my starting salary is QR 6000 starting so wat u think its gud for my future?

Its up to ur experiance. If u r well experianced then join as technician as u will have to solve 70% calls excalated from the helpdesk and if u r not well experianced then join helpdesk and improve from 30% to 70 n then join as tech guy

at helpdesk you will be doing the first level of support to a user. that is also depends if you have enough staff at the helpdesk otherwise you will just entering calls on to the system. where as a technician or engineer will be doing the second level and 3rd level of support to a user. i hope i cleared ur query
