My wife is in the process of transferring her sponsorship to a company from mine, due to some circumstances the transfer seems not to be completed on or before my departure date.CAN I EXIT QATAR LEAVING HER HERE EVEN THE TRANSFER IN NOT COMPLETED?
i almost have the same situation last april. The difference is i'm not transferring to any sponsorship. My husband ended his contract so the company will cancel his visa. As per the advice from the company, me and our daughter were cancelled first before the company cancelled his visa. Once your visa is cancelled, that means your dependents under your sponsorship will be cancelled. So you have to make sure your wife will be transferred before they will cancel you. Better yet inform the mandoob of your wife's company about your situation. they know better.
you may have to forget for ever,if you really want to say goodbye to her then hurry up and go :)
If you are planing to change her sponsership do it before your company cancel your RP,after they cancel you can not change,try to hurryup and get it transfered.
if your company is going to cancel your RP, you can't leave her here without sorting out the sponsorship transfer, as she is still under your sponsorship...

I assumed he'l be cancelling his RP or Terminated & leaving, seeing that he wants to transfer his wife's sponsorship to another company from his own. This is a very rare situation & wouldnt normally happen if husband is working well & planning for a long stay here.

On a serious note- I believe she can make complete the transfer as long as she has signed letter from you stating your no-objection and your Qatari ID card. You can always confirm with her company's "mandoob" .

you may ask your company to give you some more days to stay here in qatar until the visa of your wife got transferred to her new sponsor.
then to your wife's side, keep following-up their mandoob regarding the status of her visa transfer..because sometimes, transfer will takes time...

leon, your company cannot cancell your residence permit if you still have person/s (wife/children) under your sponsorship.

Iam almost sure, if the transfer is not done in the immigration section's system,,ur wife's visa would as well get automatically cancelled.

Ok if your RP is getting cancelled on exit, then you should wait for your wife's transfer to be completed before exiting.

I assumed he was transferring her onto company's visa to get extra accommodation allowance benefits and he was just going for a leave or something.

You cannot, her RP will expire once your RP is canceled (I am assuming that you are canceling your RP)
If you can leave without canceling your RP, then she will be ok.
