Is this a traffic violation?

This incident happened in Lulu Hyper few days ago. I stopped my car at the road side while waiting for my friend to buy something. My car is not blocking the traffic flow. Suddenly a Traffic police came and threw a fine (Yellow sticker) to me without saying a word. i dont dare to go and argue with him as i afraid he will suddenly issue another fine to me for offending him. What is your opinion? How much is the fine? This is so ridiculous!

Probably you parked on the yellow lines which is traffic violations, just go online and check it with your car number and it maybe not be more than 300 and maybe some points
The fine is 500 Qr

If you were parking your car in the designated parking area they will not bother. I am sure you with the other car owners were parking in the no parking area.
The problem is I am inside the car. Anyway i have to pay for it. I believe whole row of cars there got fine on that day.

Well, if you stopped on the road (even if you weren't blocking traffic) it is a violation. Just pay the fine.
Police knows what is traffic violation and not. You should not parked your car anywhere else except at parking areas, you are the city brother not in the village. For sure that is QR500 to 600 fine.
Most probably QR300...
