Soniya thanks a lot for your advise.

Actually we are consulting Dr Hema Rajiv since the time she was pregnant, but we were opting Hamad Hospital for delivery as i heard that delivering in private hospitals is very expensive.Recently i made health card for my wife and they told that me and my wife can consult the Mesaimeer health centre for any medical emmergency.I dont know how well equipped the doctor`s are in the health centre.i am confused one side its matter of lots of money in private hospital and on the other side i am a bit scared of the doctors in health centres.

it is beter to register immidiately.your wife just need her health card and her I.D. card, marriage certificate and your I.D. for that.Hospital will give u an appointment skedule and moiniter your baby health throughout this period.and any complications they will do the needful.

May we ask you where your wife is going for pre-natal check ups??? Is she going to HAMAD directly OR to the primary health centres??? If she is going HAMAD, then it means she is already registered with them and they will look after her till delivery...But if she is going to PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRES, the doctors would recommend your wife to start visiting either HAMAD or hospital of your choice for further check ups after she will complete her 7month of pregnancy...

If you have already decided to opt HAMAD for delivery, there is no need to book any room in advance..U just need to accompany ur wife to the hospital when her labour pain will start(ofcourse u are not allowed to enter inside WOMEN's hospital)and the immediate nurses and staff will take care of ur wife then...

Just be tension free now..Still much time is left..Don't think on all these from now on..have faith in ur GOD..

ALL THE BEST to ur wife for SAFE DELIVERY..
