US pressure on FIFA

Controversial referee Koman Coulibaly was left off FIFA’s list for the next batch of World Cup matches following the error that likely cost the United States a victory against Slovenia.

The referee is a human being with only two eyes and not a machine to seen everything that happens during the 90 minutes match of 22 players. The decision of the referee should be considered as final. The above incident is taking place because the decision was not in favour of US.

This a common practice with FIFA and EUFA..

Referees are evaluated for each game. If they perform badly, then they are removed or rested for a game..

Ofcourse it is feasible that Obama threatened to authorise a rendition flight for Sepp Blatter unless this referee was removed - Isn't it ?

WK> Your first post is more than enough for reaching to that conclusion. I would appreciate if you can clarify your new comment (making effort for what?).

They could have made it to the World Cup instead of having their countrymen sit around and bitch about how countries with athletes competent enough to compete should be happy about getting screwed by worthless referees. If you are poor at your job, you get fired (not literally set on fire as is the case in some heathen nations) this guy proved himself to not be able to handle the position, he should have never been on the pitch.

Also, Dot.com, how has Afghanastan been doing in the World Cup?

Mr M., I dont think so that FIFA will penalise french refree due to the goal was scored by hand. Because US is not losing anything in this case.

This issue is raised just because the US team has lost their match. In football, it happens all the time and even in this current worldcup it is still happening because the refree cannot see everything and there is no provision to consult with 3rd umpire like in Cricket.

So, shame on US.

FIFA should have laughed out loud and made fun of Qatar for its world cup bid with only proposed stadiums as well.

Should have, would have, could have, but didn't.

FIFA should have penalised that french referee who was in charge of the Brazil-Ivory Coast match for allowing a goal scored by handball as well!
