I read this following quote today and I want really some of the QLrs to go through and have a glance it really might help, it did for me:

The bow cannot always stand bent, nor can human frailty subsist without some lawful recreation.

Miguel de Cervantes (1547 - 1616)

Blood, bowing doesn't mean always following. Sometimes, it just symbolizes respect. Even opposing armies salute each other before killing each other.

But for the original quote, it's really hard to understand unless you have a link we can look at!

The thing is we have rules all around us, kings asks us to always bow.

We can't and have to stop always bowing, and not all rules should be blindly followed we have to fight for our own beliefs, putting in consideration others' freedom

And thank you Doc. unless you want to discuss the subject.

I would appreciate if you could explain this with a real world example for me. I like the quote, but need you to relate it to reality for a better general understanding.
