On Iran's Latest Santions!

With the sanctions imposed to Iran last Wednesday, 9 June 2010 by the security council brings a new dillema to the country. These sanctions includes the banned of imports from other countries and definitely it has a detrimental effects on the economy of the country. It is known that the sanctions is for the government of Iran particularly to the revolutionary guard who is said to have a control of the nuclear facility. It seems more and more Iranian people are used to the sanctions since the revolution and seems unthinkable that these sanctions lead to a more aggresive thinking of the people to realize the nuclear ambitions of Iran.

However, main objective of the sanctions is to get back the government of Iran to the table of negotiations and calling them to halt or stop their nuclear ambitions.

Have your opinion be heard.

tell the truth about the fate of its uranium enrichment program whether its all for electricity purposes. The government of Iran should show ample evidence that its activities is for its electricity problem of the entire country otherwise the UN is more serious to implement a more aggresive sanctions.

Yes, the Iranian regime stinks... The Saudis are happy to have the sanctions against Iran because they want to be the Big Dog in the region. Also, theer is the Shia / Sunni aspect.

I am not saying that we should embrace the regime. I just believe that any country has the right to develop whatever technology it sees fit...

no country have to right to develope weapons eveny if they want! weapons are being made for war, and its the right time to develope peace among the nations....

Yep, I know ...

I don't like the Mullahs of Iran, but I also think that ALL countries have the right to develop weapons if they wish. We don't mind exporting arms and killing machines, yet we become all pious when a third world nation tries to do the same...

It is sad that there are such double standards. The UN security council is led by the USA and its allies.

Predictable it seems but let's hope that everything would be alright.

an old saying

"A weak nation deserves death"

as long as the muslim world not going to re unite, all these will happen.

Once it was Ottoman, then Iraq, Afghanistan, now Iran, next probably Pakistan and so on......

One by one.

iran's president is not worried at all. he said the sanctions need to be thrown into the dust-bin.

if iran can sustain its economy despite these sanctions, it must go on with their nuclear program. why not?

security council will do exactly what the US wants and US is presently building up the background to finally bomb iran like it has done with iraq. during iran iraq war, US supported iraq and helped iraq with sophesticated weapons against iran. its all a long term plan to take control over the oil and gas reserves in the region.

iran may be refining uranium for medical purposes but US doesnt want to believe it...it wont even if its true.

EVeryone looks into their business interests. thats all.

The same fervour is not seen with regards to Israels nuclear plants and related development.

You need to remove the mud from inside your head to know what exactly is going on.

its another of those blinkered moves in support of the zionist lobby by the Americans.

In the long run, things are going to get even more dangerous unless saner counsel prevails.
