I doubt whether you will be able to adopt from here. Best to try in your own country. Also, don't despair yet - 8 years is not a long time... Have you seen the doctors ???

I am looking for a dog groomer to groom our dogs. We live in west bay. Can anyone recommend a local dog groomer? Prferably one that drops off and collects?

There are two issues:

1- Qatar is Islamic country and in Islam there is concept of Adoption,so you can not Adopt from Qatar.

2- If you Adopt some one from outside Qatar, you will not get Visa. You may need to change kids Father's name to your name in this case, which may not be appropriate.

Your original question is not answered here.

Moreover it is strongly suggested to see a good gynecologist, which you may have done before posting this, I suggest Dr. Zeenet Rizivi in Al-Ahli hospital, one of the best gynecologist of the country.

May God bless you with healthy baby.

its better to adopt a child from your home country . not because the issues of paper only .

but for later .. in future .. its better to have a kid from the same race and nationality .. even he might knows the truth .. but wouldnt face much problems with his society .

Good Luck in that ..

As mentioned by a few others above including Olive;it would be better if you check out the adoption policies of your country and find a child to adopt there. It is not possible to adopt while at Qatar IMO. Please check the link below for more details:

Wouldn't it be good if people could actually distinguish between a serious topic, something that affects the OP's life and family, and just spamming the Forum with rubbish and ignorant posts? Today the OP had something on her/his chest and needed to ask for help/opinions, remember - tomorrow it might be you and you sure deserve to get the same kind of answers you are posting, and not just once, twice or three times!

Do adoption in your country as it is not allowed in Qatar.

Where are you from? I suggest contacting adoption agencies in your home country.
