Marriage to an exapt on visit visa
I work in one of GCC county and many times visited QATAR, my fiancé living in Qatar with her parents, is it possible that I go Qatar on visit visa and we perform the marriage their, will I need anything form my home embassy, what are the requirements and required documents will be needed in sharia court.
how to apply a resident permit? how many years I need to stay in Doha so I can apply for a residence permit?
how can my husband apply for a visa for me so I can visit him in Doha? How many months he needs to stay in Doha before he can apply a visa for me?
Marriages can be done anywhere; it is agreed between the two parties and mutual understanding. After you get married to her on yr visit visa to Qatar, she can go with you to her new home with you. This we call marriage.
One thing u must under stand that an idiot also can marry but to keep your relation lasting with faith, trust and understanding is the right meaning of marriage.
What is about the medical tests?
If you are only in visit visa, their is no guarantee that after marriage you may return back, this will be the problem to the parents of girl. Sincerely if you are interested to marry the girl may be well known each other in your place but she is in Qatar. Go through proper channel first settle yourself here to take care of her then decide to marry.
thank you very much Abdulkader M.M for helpful reply, just one more clarification that do i need to get any NOC or any other sort of document from my embassy in QATAR or the GCC country I am residing, or we just go directly to court after medical test done.
And it seems first I have to come QATAR for medical test as it take long to get test results so have to come again for marriage.

no need from any Residance. i did the same weeks back. im resident here and my wife came from her country on a visit visa and we got married. the thing is you need to make the marriage medical tests, which takes between 3 weeks to 1.5 months for the results to be available. if you are mouslim the ma2zoun will not make your marriage before getting these results, and from the court side it will take 3 to 5 days to get the cirtificate. but 100% you can get married here.
all the best and mabroook
nope..to get married here.. u'l need Residence Permit.
