hi all,

i want to buy a used car in qatar and ship it to lebanon. anyone has any idea what kind of fees, taxes, customs, etc i will need to pay?

Hey! You should consider several things for your car:

1. Shipping Fees: Cost of transporting the car.

2. Customs Duties: Taxes based on the car’s value.

3. VAT: Value Added Tax on imports.

4. Registration Fees: For registering the car in Lebanon.

5. Insurance: Coverage during transit.

6. Inspection Fees: Possible inspection requirements in Lebanon.

But I advise you to do it with a shipping company to avoid risks. I've already shipped something from Qatar to Dubaï with a shipping company called "DocShipper Qatar", it went pretty nice. Maybe you should try it as well!

The Traffic Dept in Madinat Khalifa has all the info that you need. Pay them a visit and they will help you do all the paper work. Then you have to find a freight company to ship it for you and they will take care of the Int'l Tripticket for the Customs
