This may sound random, but is it possible (and where) to purchase paint thinner in Doha (the liquid to clean brushes from oil paint)? I'm shipping my stuff over and am quite certain the item is considered flammable so I'd rather not bring it with...Thanks!
There is an art supply store in City Center Mall on the third floor - the opposite end from Carrefour. The name is Alwan and the phone number is 411-5268. They apparently have a branch in The Center (where MegaMart is located) - 443-4782 - though I have not noticed it. You can also email the City Center manager at [email protected] to ask them about the paint thinner.
You definitely cannot bring the paint thinner. If it leaks it will be a huge disaster for your shipment (and potentially those near it, depending on where the thinner was packed).

you can buy it either in hardware shops,jarir bookstore or in some artshops (one in nasser st.,oppositte nokia showroom).
