Guys I have question regarding medical Health. my frend has diagnosed with scarce in lungs way back 2002. right now he was sponsor as family visit visa here in doha. he made already an xray for the extension of his visa last feb 22 and still positive with scarce in lungs but the medical commission approve the extension of his visit visa good for 6 months. now, he he will start already with his work and the company required to undergo again the medical (xray & blood). my question is this possible to not to undergo xray and show the result for his last xray taken in doha qatar last feb 22. any difference of medical examination for visit and working visa? what are the posibility that my friend will encounter.?

kabayan need your advice..

Thank you!!!

they take 3 to four diff position of my xray. the fist xray when i left the xray room they called up me again to do another. so when we process the extension w/c not yet submitted to immigration we went to medical commission and they found out that i have scarce w/c i think this scarce is already healed and almost 9 years aleady. they said to go to the doctor upstair of the building to get the result and they put a note "FIT" then we process it to immigration.

My question:

1. can be affect if i will transfer to working visa.

i will work as I.T.

2. What other problem i will encounter to transfer to working visa.?

thanks.

jonel69, you mean one can enter this country on a family visit visa even if he has a scar on his lungs?

Does anybody know if companies will give working visas to these people? We want to get our brother here if it's allowed.

My wife didnt have another medical at the time of her resident visa. We just deposited the Medical Fee & They entered the same data in their computers as of the first Medical Test.

Can't say if the rules have been changed now.

I was here on visit visa and also did medicals for its extension and later got it converted into family residence visa. I had to go for medical again for residence visa but the second time they just took money for medical and then noted down that I had undergone medical before and didn't have to do blood and X-ray again.

No idea if it is same for work visa though.
