what are the documents required to open file for driving school?

REQUIREMENTS FOR ACQUIRING DRIVING LICENSE:

FOR EMPLOYEES:

• NOC/Sponsor letter addressed to Traffic Dept. indicating that you are allowed to enroll for driving course (light/heavy),ID # must be mentioned in the letter to be printed in company letter head.

• Eye Test for driving lesson

• Copy of Computer Number (Company)

• Applicant’s Qatar ID

• 4 pcs. passport size photos

NOTE :

For those who have driver’s license in home country you have the following options:

1. Take Direct Test

Complete all the requirements with the copy of your license and present it directly to the Traffic Department for the approval. Fees: QR 50 Direct Test and QR 100 car rental.

2. Take Direct Test with Traffic Dept. & take 5 days Refresher Course with the School

After the approval from Traffic Dept., pay the test fee & car rental. Once you get the test date go to the Reception and apply for the Refresher Course for QR 550.00

3. Take Short Course/Half Course

After approval from Traffic Dept. submit all the requirements to the Reception and apply for a short course (12 days) or half course (25 days).

All mentioned by asif....but the most important one is the Application Form. You can get it typed from any typing services centre...then get it signed by your sponsor (& stamped in case of a company).
