I just have to write again. What are you thinking? Havent you read all the posts here on QL about people being hasseled by the developers here? You can buy leasehod in designated areas of Doha or freehold at the Pearl,ZigZag or the Lagoon west bay.
Developers here will give you a song and dance of total crap. Dont believe a word they say.
Purchase from one who already purchased and no wants to sell, but even then you have to look at the circumstances of what you are responsible for when your name is on the title. Maintenance and special fees must be considered.
You obviously have alot to learn. You must be new in Qatar. I have one simple advice for you - GET A LAWYER when dealing with any developer here in land of Q.
Yes Expats can buy properties in certain areas, benefits.. not sure, heard that you will get 99 year renewable resident visa.
