Maid required urgently!

Hi,

We urgently need a new Filipino live-in maid. Does anyone know of a maid who is looking for a new employer? We simply can't wait for the super slow agencies to get someone in as we are both working and our "trusted" helper has left. Long story, won't bore you with the details...

I have also heard of people getting maids over on tourist visas and then changing their status when they arrive. Does anyone know more about this option? Any other ideas?

There are already lots of maids in tourist visas without you having to get them from their country. Just post ads (here in QL, or in newspapers like Gulf Times, etc.) and surely someone will call you, especially if you offer the standard salary amount and once they know that you are European/Westerner, lots will be interested.
