Rotaractors
Just to clear some comments made about Rotary & Rotaract, IMHO Rotaract and Rotary as an organization work for a common goal which is to be of service to our less fortunate brothers and sisters.

1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIP?
4. Will be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
just a brief info about Rotaract:
ROTARACT is an international program for young men and women ages 18 to 30 who believe they can make a difference. ROTARACT clubs provide an opportunity for young adults to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.
I'd like to share a couple of pictures taken during my college years and being a member of Rotaract, personally it doesn't matter how old or young we are but if you have the passion to make a difference in your community do it.
I hope to meet my fellow Rotaractors in QL soon.
Hi guys maybe we could have a get together and discuss this, it would really be great to start this before the Rotary Year 2010- 2011 begins. hope to see some feedback.

*Stealth- India has the largest no. of Rotaract Clubs as per R.I., with regards to drinking we rotaractors call it fellowship. it's a time of celebration like what sxhabeeb mentioned.
*sxhabeeb & khemcho- i agree, let's have a get together. we can have coffee and discuss our plans to charter a club here in doha.

Stealth - Not all of them are drinkers and party goers.. its like both sides of the coin.. so you cant generalize the statement.. (i do agree that people are there, but not all)

For the people who are willing to do some thing for their community, with the influences of the big shots in the comuunity, for the people who would like enjoy helping the needy... rotaract is a good place where you can interact with dignity and respect. and also you may have some booz once a year to enjoy your services what you have done for the community.... i was in qatar nearly 9 years and i was looking where the rotaracters gather.. but i could not find... i will be back in doha soon... if some of us can get to gather we can form one in qatar .... my salute to the rotaracters.
