Hi,

I am new in Doha and 1 month back my wife also joined me here..We are facing the hard time with her finger printing..She has very thin lines and CID people are not passing the scan.. We have gone through this process 3 times and still not approved.. Now they have asked her to apply olive oil and come back after 1 week.. I am worried if this scanning is not approved then what happens?
what are the maximum number of chances for this scanning process and Is there any other process to get the RP if finger print is not passed.

Regards,
Kamran

Hi Kamran

We are also in the same situation now. Did you manage to get her fingerprint done?

some articles on the net said that some people finger prints are not clear. She might be typing on the computer alot or cleaning alot around the house . She should at least mosture her hands alot and try to wear cotton cloves . That is why they told her to use olive oil in order to keep her hands mosture and not dry . so i hope this will help and hopefully it will go through

good luck

:)

Soak the hand in water....or wear wet gloves overnight....try it a week before to see....

Wonder how can olive oil solve the problem?

But dont they do this fingerprinting by digital scanning now? Or is it still done by using stamp pad?

dear kamran,

The same thing happned with our colegue.......he also tried atleast 4/5 times but failed, they advised him to use olive oil on hands but all attempt to scan had failed and ultimately he has to go back to india.

So check the delay in visa process and better send her back.......pls dont feel bad but its a fact.
