Lung Spot and HCV test?
Hi guys i am juz new here iam very confuse and depressed...anybody could help me plzzzzz..
I got an offer in qatar by next week they want me to leave asap, ive done my medical they told that they seen a spot in my lungs. And my sgpt was elevated they think i have a HCV but the RNA test result for Anti HCV is NEGATIVE my doctor told me the reason is i am fatty liver because of taking so much cholesterol. Because of the GAMCA agency here thats is why we OFW's are suffering to get fit in medical test! i came from Dubai and Saudi i spent several years working in GCC countries i am very aware of such deseases and never get problems in medical test in these countries. Could i get a work permit in such findingssince i am working in office as designer?
and my 2nd problem is? i got 2 employer in qatar the other one is this one on process my medical but the other one is offering me a business visa. If i failed in this test could i take the option to accept the business visa offer is there a possiblity?because im confident that only here in philippines is giving me a medical problem. will they require me also to have a medical test before issuing a business visa?
any answer would be a great help? Thanks...
Have another test on independent laboratory which has no particular interest with OFW medical requirements. I'm not sure whether Business VISA got the same requirements with sponsored Visit VISA. But I was also told to undergo with those medical certifications which I did not comply. Yet I was able to get boarded on the plane in Mactan International Airport.
The whole point is to have yourself checked by other Doctor. It's important to confirm about that lung scar before your flight. Everything will be going against you here if that will be found out. X-ray gets the same result here. To get work visa you are require to have 2 tests: blood sample for HIV & Hepatitis tests and lung X-ray. The Ministry of Health of Qatar has the final say whether you will be cleared.
Local Accredited medical laboratories requirements, in my opinion, is a burden rather than a help to OFWs. They would give you results that would make you spend more and delay you travel.
Better to ask also your employer regarding this matter.
