if you are willing ot pay over half a million bucks for tiny bad built little cave, you probably would get it.. but again as MD said, with big IF... I don't think it's a great deal:

teeny-weeny itty-bitty spot against a huge big strong IF

In Dubai also builders/promoters used this propaganda of 99 years residence permit for selling their properties...however later it was denied by the government... better get it confirmed from the concerned in the government in Qatar before u buy a property based on this information by a promoter.

It is not guaranteed and at the discretion of the Ministry! So, you might end up with property and no residence for 99 years.

yes u heard correct , there is some properties have this facility but u should be 100 % sure and confirm before u buy any thing as i have some freinds they try to buy some property and they did not get this resident permit for 99 year , on other side one of my friend he got also ... so as per my knowledge not all properties offer this . there are conditions even u get 99 years rp but u have to pay as per rp fee to renew it every year .
