Last time I encountered someone desperate for cats, any cats you have he would take, it was for lab use. Not saying that you want them for thaqt but you do sound as if you want lots of cats, why?
Ask information from the Pet shops. They might give you a good advice.

Go to one of the vet surgeries and make inquiries - they are often helping to find homes for strays or abandoned animals. Be aware that all cats cost money - even free ones. They need to be spayed or neutered, have annual vet checkups and vaccinations, microchipping etc.
Talk to the vet to find out the prices involved and to get advice on how to look after the cat properly. Then you will have a friend for life!

Just pick up any of the strays around Doha large garbage bins and you'll be fine. It's free and you can get a lot of types/variations to choose from. No need to buy one. You can get a lucky cute one sometimes. ;-P
