There are some individuals here in Doha who's legally married in our country. But since he's converted into Islam he married a very young lady without consent of his spouse and family. Is that acceptable? It's not fair to his wife and his family.
Yes! It is acceptable in the Islamic point of view. As a Muslim, he doesn't need consent from his first wife to remarry another woman of his choice, but at least to inform her regarding his second marriage. His marriage to his second wife is valid here in Qatar and in his home country as a Muslim.
