me and my wife are having our first baby here in Qatar late December,,,can anyone advise a good doctor or hospital or clinic. My wife is filipina here on family visa under my sponsorship. Thankyou
Go Al Ahli of you can afford it or have the health insurance to cover you. My son was born there. It's as close to staying in a resort as a hospital could be. Medically they are top notch as well.
less than two weeks ago, i gave birth at doha clinic. I was (still is) consulting with my OB Dr Maha since 1st month of pregnancy. she's really good, just that waiting in line for consultation maybe a bit time consuming.
i give thumbs up for my experience with the hospital and OB.
dr kudsia is really very good and she does communicate in english very very well....if u have a health insurance card u can treat in any medical centres here........and for delivery, before hamad was really good, but now i heard that there is no much checkups and they do not allow husbands to enter and to the fact most of the doctors are men!!!!!!
now the best option is al ahli if its affordable bcoz delivery over there costs almost qr 10000....
good luck to both of u.may god bless u with a healthy, cute and smart baby.....take care.
with prayers
Dr. Kudsia may be good for mallu people but not for others. She hardly speaks out in english, people wait hours in the office. Its crazy. No connection with patient whatsoever. So NO to Dr. Kudsia
Try Dr. Kudsia Begum. She is the best.
hamad women hospital is the only good hospital for this purpose...and if you are looking fr a private then the ever best gyny doc is in alahli hospital.her nme is doctor zeenat rizvi...she was the head of the women hamad hospital..alahli is quite expensive but this doc is the best doc in the town...
