Advice for my father's visit from UK

First of all I apologise for making this a forum not a question. When I try and post a question it says oops, you have to be registered to ask a question.

Anyway, my 72 year old dad is coming for 1 week in November and I want to know if I have to do anything other than him getting the visit visa at the airport. He has a UK passport and is good health.
Thanks, JJ

I've heard that the visa counter will only accept a credit card but you can pay for his visa ahead of time if you use Al maha. Enjoy the visit!

Unfortunatley for the gentleman above what he says is true for his nationality.

He should be able to get a visa on arrival at the airport.

The person above is incorrect. With a British passport he can obtain a visa on arrival. You can use Al Maha to meet him from the plane if you wish and pay for his visa in advance. Al Maha is at the airport.

Yes he come anytime to Qatar and all you have to do is apply for a visit visa at Ministry of Interior in either the Immigration Office in Gharafa or at the building near to the airport.

Or to ensure that everything will be okay just contact any travelling agency here like the Cleopatra Travel Agency in Musherib Doha and they handle everything and they will brief you for the necessary requirement needed by your father before he come here.

Hope that this will help you.
