Can my wife have her maiden name.....though we have a marriage certificate with her new and old name mentioned

My wife and I will be coming to Qatar soon. She will be around 3 months pregnant when we arrive.

Although we have a marriage certificate, her passport and working name in the company is still her old maiden name. The certificate clearly mentions both her maiden name and her new name which has my surname included.

Will this be a problem during the delivery of our child when we are in Qatar? Should I get a new passport made with her name changed to her new name?

Kindly advise.

No problem at all...I too am in the same situation. My wife delivered here and there were no issues.

just make sure you have your marriage certificate.

As long as she has marrigae certificate and with you name on it she and you should be OK. But it highly advised to change her name on the passport, normally change of name on the RP can take around 2 to 3 months.
