If you've ever seen one happen, you really don't feel the need to see another one.

Atif,intentions alone don't mean anything. You have to act responsibly to let your actions speak for themselves. You chose a wrong audience for a wrong cause. What percentage of Qatar bike riders would have seen your gruesome images you think? And what percentage of those would you expect to learn from it? I'am sure that number would not be significant enough for you to upset a large number of non bikers on this forum.

Boohoo bikes are dangerous.

Bull. The most dangerous thing about riding a bike here is the other drivers that drive with their head up an undisclosed location.

Pedestrians are just as bad, if anyone has driven in Qatar longer than a month then they will know, and have probably almost hit one. They will walk out infront of anything anytime, and on a bike, they don't just kill themselves but the probably the person riding aswell.

Bikes are not dangerous, Circumstances are dangerous. There needs to be awareness on both side of the coin here. Yes i agree alot of people on bikes drive like morons (from a bikers perspective) but unless you are a rider it is difficult to judge what is dangerous. I in no way condone the ones that do a 3k wheely up the corniche, that is stupidity. I do expect people to quit with the generalising though.

I know people who have been killed on bikes here and at home, and most of the time it was general thought "there goes another wreckless biker" and it frankly pisses me off.

All i can do is reiterate what marais said.

and please people, as Qatar gets more populated bikes will ebcome more common. Be Aware and Take Care.

I have driven bike for 5 years so I know how much a biker is vulnerable to any accident regardless of whose mistake it is.

Even if a biker is waiting at RED SIGNAL, there is a good chance that a car might run over your feet

I know not all bikers are reckless. This is only for such bikers who don't care for no life while driving with such speed and carelessness

My Senior employee had 3 severe accidents. He didn't realize the danger of BIKE RIDING till he met his 3rd one. He got few fractures and few days at hospital in COMA.

The reason was SPEED,EXCITEMENT and carelessness which led him to such devastated result

Then he realized his mistake and immediately sold out his bike

Before you have "serious intentions".. Get on a bike and find out what it is all about.

Most bike accidents happen due to car riders saying "Oops, i didnt see him", not due to biker negligence.

Get your facts straight first. The guys that wheelie their bikes is in full control while doing it, and the guys that do high speed runs, are mostly track trained.

If you have never been on a bike, then you wouldnt know what its about.

I was recently in an accident in full gear with a FJ Cruiser. His comment was "I didnt see you", i came down hard, but walked away without a scratch. We that know the outcome of a fall, ride in full gear to protect us from tarmac, and other CAR drivers.

no need to mock the dead my friend. not all of us bike riders are reckless and irresponsible you know.

But indeed an eye opener not only to bikers, but all reckless drivers motorist. Our life is precious, though accident could happen anytime and anywhere without signs. Be careful everyone!

I agree with Storm..the power of motorcycles are underestimated by most riders. If you dont wear the required gear, like a helmet, leather jacket, back protectors etc, then you can end up like this.

Looking at the orange honda, the guy was doing a wheelie, which he flipped. This was at not at high speed looking at the skid marks. He didnt wear a helmet.

Bikers ...wear your kit, even if the ride is short...DRESS FOR THE FALL, NOT FOR THE RIDE!!

That's what i want BIKERS to realize that plz do enjoy your ride as i also love and dream to ride such bikes but the accidents i have seen in Qatar and such pics around the world I just really hate such bikes coz one wrong judgement and your either dead or you might lost your body part forever.

I used the word "AWESOME" only in a TEASING MANNER for almost all bikers who zoom away thinking that the way they drive these BIKES recklessly is "AWESOME".

Sad & Pity to those dead riders who did not wear necessary protection such as Helmets and Back Protectors. Its real sad. Atif your msg is not for sensitive people, and women will react offensively, but yes i myself as an Bike Rider, i feel it can be a real eye opener to a few who are crazy & under estimate what the machine can do when an accident happens.

Why the local govt is installing SPEED RADARS, HEAVY FINES etc ?? Only because such incidents did happen in Qatar in the past

i have seen almost similar incident at corniche road involving BIKER & PADESTRIAN. Padestrian's whole leg was separated from his body.

So who ever gets the chance he/she must speak out and reveal the reality for such reckless driving and using such dangerous & extreme bikes/cars

Its a lesson for those bikers who drive recklessly at CORNICHE ROAD. They must see these pics and be careful while driving such EXTREME MACHINES which are fatal for both for them and padestrians
