I brought mine 3 years ago from Dorset and he is absolutely fine here, actually it's the rain he objects to now!

If I had one, ofcourse I do. How can you leave the loved one alone and leave that forever there? and act forgetting?? I suggest better carry with you.

If your dog is an indoor dog, he/she will be better protected from the heat. It is outrageous to keep a pet outdoors in these extremely hot tempts.

There are also limited areas in which to walk your pet. For example, the pets cannot walk along the cornish or any of the grassy areas.

There have been many threads that talk about this topic. Do a search on this topic and decide. Like Mandi said, there may be a bigger issue with the mandatory quarantine when re-entering the UK. :(

Good luck.

Why not? There are good pet relocators and many expats have their dogs here and very happily so! Just ask Xena and Scarlett and Chelsea. The only issue might be the quarantine when you return to the UK.
