How to get back my tuition fee from PSD?

We are worried that PSD keeps on promising to open the school but until now there is no guarantee. No complete classes are being held. Can I go to the Education Ministry to get back our tuition fee? PSD is holding our money because we will transfer to PISQ. Where is this office located? Can anybody help? Thanks in advance.

Some classrooms shut as PSD reopens

DOHA: Some 1,000 students of Philippine School Doha (PSD) attended the first day of school in the new academic year yesterday even as classrooms for several grades were closed because they are yet to comply with some building regulations.

Alex Acosta, the PSD principal, said classes for students of the nursery and kindergarten, the preparatory level and of grades one to three and fourth year high school, had started smoothly. “We are grateful to the parents for being considerate enough to understand our situation,” he said.

He expressed optimism the authorities would give the school due consideration, hopefully any day next month, and allow it to start classes for grades five and six and first year to third year of high school after the building regulations were complied with.

Acosta said the consultant and contractor for the school buildings had assured him they would make a representation before the authorities this week.

Thirty-seven classrooms are awaiting approval by the Civil Defence department of the Ministry of Interior on account of requirements like having water sprinklers to deal with any fire, and an evacuation plan.

Acosta said yesterday the school still had enough time to comply with the requirement of the Philippine Department of Education of having at least 200 school days during a school year

He said they would continue classes till April instead of March next year.
