DOHA: A 70-year-old woman has been beaten up severely and kicked out of her home by her son and grandchildren, but she is reluctant to file a police complaint because she does not want legal action against her near and
dear ones.
The woman, who is actually more than 70, was thrown out with her luggage into the street after being thrashed, after which someone called up Al Sharq Arabic daily.
But when the Al Sharq reporter reached the spot, she was already back in her home, and her son and his family members were missing. The house belongs to her.
According to the daily, this was not the first time woman was beaten up by her son and thrown out.
“This has been happening for a number of years and each time she was beaten up and kicked out, neighbours, many of whom are single Asian workers living in the vicinity, provided her food and help,” the daily said.
But she never ever tried to contact the police for she did not want her son and his family to face legal action.
She even did not go for treatment even if she bled after being assaulted, for a medical centre would not treat her without a police complaint. The woman said that she was praying when her relatives attacked her and kicked her out.
My heart just bursted with anger & extreme regret for that cursed son & grandson of that lady. uffffffffff, O' MUSLIM BROTHER, its ur mother who has HEAVEN under her feet. How can you gather such guts to treat your mother at this age and not fearing for ALLAH'S wrath in both worlds.

even i if become god oneday, in my dream ofcourse, i wont forgive a single person who did hurt his/her parents... no matter how wrong they were...
i wish i could be a ruler/president of my/any country so that i could teach these 'children' a very good lesson...

or maybe she did not file a complaint because she feels that first and foremost she is a mother who has unconditional love for her offspring no matter what.. this man does not know how blessed he is to have a mother like her and he repays her by doing her harm, i hope he gets karma.
Maybe she didn't lodge a police complaint against her son because she fears he will do more than beat her if she does.
At least animals treated in this way have QAWS to go to. Where do elderly women go when they are neglected like this??

Only the Peninsula seems to carry tis news. If true, I am saddened for her plight. Irrespective of religion, our parents and the elderly deserve our respect, support and kindness.
I hope that the authorities will help her. I also hope that the family will realise that "What goes around, comes around"..
Very Sad. Guess if they can not look after the parents then put them in OLD peoples home.
I think it is time that they started operating Nursing Homes for the eldery in this country..

forgot to mention that after getting such treatment from her son & grandsons, still that mother is a well wisher for them as she haven't went to POLICE for legal actions against such treatment by her own bloods

Look at the heart of a Mother, how big & loving it is??? She still loves & pray for well being of her own child no matter how they treat her in return
.
I'm crying for such treatment and cannot imagine what will be the punishment for this family in both worlds
