Hi,
I will move to Doha beginning of August 2009.
I am looking for somebody that can give me professional private ice skating lessons...
Many thanks

mary ... i wrote my comment half asleep last night, i was referring to the ice rink in villagio. My son finished the basic package with one of the coach (Gino) over there.
decisiondecision26, it was the same case with me, about 2 yrs ago I also being told by the staff that the waiting list takes forever. But I think recently they re-do their system. You just goes there and see their book and check what time slot available. I highly recommend the coach that teach my son, his name is Gino.
sorry Mary ... i wrote it wrong half asleep last night ... i was referring to Villagio. My son just finished the basic package with one of the coach in Villagio :o)
Last time I came to Doha (beg 2008) I was told that I had to wait btw 4-6 months for private lessons as no teachers were available.
I left my phone number to both City Centre & Villaggio but they never called back.
You can't teach experience...
Both Villagio and City Center Mall have ice skating rink. You can try there.
Hyatt Plaza doesn't have an ice rink. There is one in Villagio and one in City Centre. Both offer lessons.
The difference between the two is the size of the ice surface.
It's a great way to get cooled off in the summer - wish the music was better for skating.
