I have a Linksys Router at home and im having a problem right now. I cant fix it!! I want to re-install the router but i already forgot the user name and password. Can somebody help me plsss... need to use NET in the evening.

Just before you can reset the Router, just make sure you have the username and password for your ADSL connection. You can get it from QTel by call 111 if you don't remember.
Also, after reseting to the factory setting, login using admin/admin
1. Select Setup
2. Select Connection1
3. Select PPPoA under Type
4. Select VC under Encapsulation
5. Give your QTel userid & password
leave rest of the things as it is, don't modify unless you are not aware of things.
There suppose to be a small button at the back of the router unplug internet cable and turn on the router then press reset button for 10 seconds then switch off and restart the router and its going to be back to factory settings. If you never had changed the password then it is Admin for username and Admin for password by default. Good luck.
Is our Routers Master she knows all the skill how to fix a broken router. you should PM her she will help you in no time. well she doesnt charge any fees but if you take it to her she will charge you alot more than the router price,

after you perform a hard reset of the router all your previous configuration will be gone. you will just have to re-configure the router again.

Try to reset it to factory setting..
Google 'linksys router password'
that will tell you the default username and password (assuming you've reset the router)
