Did you see that acccident?!!!!!!

Did you see the mindboggling scene in the signal near Dasman center at 7.15 a.m, today? It was between a BMW driven by an Arabic lady and Pajero driven by an Indian man with his wife and baby in the back seat. The lady jumped the signal with nice speed and hit the front side part of Pajero.Fortunately nothing serious happened and the Indian wife with the bump on her head was seen holding the Arabic one and taking her to the Ambulance.
The service of the police, ambulance and the towing vehicle was excellent and fast. The only worry for the innocents is that the Arabic language does not win in the police station and the story does not turn around as fast as the cars did.
Know why?I was the Indian lady with the baby and a bump on the head.We are new to Doha and were going to Immigration.
I just thank God that we are all alive to tell the story!I also thank the kind soul Mr.Bhullar.H.P. Singh(SKM AIRCONDITIONING) who took us home, from the accident scene.

thats bad...sorry to hear abt that...hope u all are doin good now...this is how people drive in Doha...infact my driving instructor told me that here in this city just keep one thing in mind that you are the only one who can see and rest of the drivers are blind...so keep your eyes open while driving...with you guys this happened unexpectedly so becareful next time and avoid sitting in front seat and use seat belt...

Friends, the painful truth is that I cannot make my baby sit.She is 3 years and cannot hold her up, etc.She was born premature and has not crossed any milestones.I am looking for a car seat and pram which accomodates a real tall 3 year old whose head needs to be supported.

Good to know you are all OK...especially the kids. Wish u the best here in Qatar. Be extra careful next time and always wear seatbelts...road accidents can happen anytime!

Thank you Elegance. Shame you had to learn the benefits of seat belts and babyseats the hard way.

Good to hear that everything is ok now... welcome to Doha... This is a learning experience specifically for those parents who let their kids sit in front seat... our kids should sit at the back, with safety belt (like what you did)...

I hope you feel better soon, welcome to Doha, it's nice to know your experience was not too awful. You are already aware how dangerous the traffic is here, I know people think it's funny but I wear a seatbelt even in the back, it saves getting your head bumped.

Best wishes to you and your family, JJ
