What is the procedure to request Road Authority to construct Speed Bumps/ speed breakers !

The place where I reside has a clear road free of speed breakers. The adjacents lanes around my house has few speed breakers. Due to this, all the motorist use this road where there are no breakers and its become difficult for all of us staying here with small children moving around.

I would like to know has anybody requested the Road Authority to construct these bumps. What is the procedure, any info on this is highly appreciated,

I think you better go and ask at the traffic department

Or better still, keep your children and animals off the road. It is intended for motor vehicles after all

I wish I knew the answer to this too. I want speed breakers in front of my house too! They go so fast here! A danger for human beings & animals. If you find out, pls advise me.
